Better projection is not only about adding more sprays. Placement, distance, clothing, and timing can make the same perfume feel cleaner, stronger, and more controlled. The goal is a scent bubble, not a fog machine.
Spray from about 15 to 20 centimeters away so the mist spreads instead of landing as a wet spot. Good areas include the chest, collarbone, back of the neck, and one light spray on fabric. Wrists are useful, but they are not the only stage where a perfume can perform.
For social settings, the back of the neck is underrated. It gives a soft trail when you move without constantly attacking your own nose. For office settings, chest and clothing under the shirt or abaya can keep the scent more private and polished.
Do not rub the perfume after spraying. Rubbing does not activate magic; it mostly disturbs the opening and wastes some of the delicate top notes. Let the fragrance dry naturally and judge it after a few minutes.
Velmoralz practical routine: two to four sprays for most Eau de Parfums, one to three for dense oud or extrait, and a small clothing spray when you need extra longevity. If people can identify your fragrance from the next room, the technique needs editing.
Badih Al Droubi's Velmoralz note: performance matters, but the best perfume is still the one that fits your skin, your room, and your real day.
