Perfume behaves differently in UAE heat. Warm skin makes fragrance evaporate faster, project more, and sometimes feel louder than it did in the shop. This is why a bottle can seem elegant at home and suddenly become a public announcement outside.
Start with fewer sprays than you think. For strong fragrances, two to three sprays is usually enough: one near the neck or chest, one on the wrist or inner elbow, and optionally one light spray on clothing if the fabric is safe.
Do not rub your wrists together. This does not completely destroy the fragrance, but it can disturb the opening and make the scent feel flatter. Dab if you must, but honestly, letting it dry is the low-drama option.
Moisturized skin helps fragrance last. Use an unscented lotion first if your skin is dry. If you layer scented lotion, make sure it actually matches the perfume. Vanilla lotion plus aquatic citrus plus oud can become a committee meeting.
Spray clothing carefully. Fabric can hold scent longer than skin, but some perfumes can stain delicate materials. Test on hidden fabric first, especially with darker juices.
Velmoralz note: your fragrance should be discovered, not survived. If someone can taste your perfume from across the room, reduce by two sprays and apologize to the room.
